CHOCOLATE AND FRUIT WAFFLE
If you are trying to get your children (or yourself) away from addicting, processed, sugary breakfasts and snacks, give this recipe a try. It’s quite delicious! If your children are old enough, they will have fun helping you create this and certainly will enjoy eating it.

CHOCOLATE AND FRUIT WAFFLE
Ingredients
Waffle:
1 ripe banana
1 cup oat flour (I ground rolled oats in a high speed blender into small pieces, did not turn into flour)
1 cup non-dairy milk (I used homemade almond milk)
2 teaspoons baking powder
Chocolate sauce:
2 ripe bananas
2 Tablespoons cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
Toppings:
Whatever fruit you prefer such as strawberries, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, kiwi etc.
Instructions
FOR THE WAFFLE: Blend all the ingredients to make a thick batter. Cook waffles according to your waffle maker’s instructions. Batter makes about three 6 inch waffles in my waffle maker.
FOR THE CHOCOLATE SAUCE: Blend the bananas and cacao on high until creamy.
Spread the sauce on the waffles, top with fruit, enjoy.
