FAVORITE MUSHROOM GRAVY

The gravy is easy to make and super good. It has become our gravy of choice for holiday meals.

What I did differently:

-Did not use white wine. Dry sautéed the onion/garlic and added a splash of water if the onion/garlic wanted to stick

-Chopped the mushrooms in a food processor

-I chopped dried rosemary leaves before measuring since I don’t like big pieces in my food

-Whisked the flour in with the hot vegetable broth (I used hot water and added Reduced Sodium Better Than Bouillon to make the broth)

-Did not toast the nutritional yeast/herbs in a separate pan rather moved the other ingredients over and heated them in the same pan until released their fragrances

-Skipped the browning sauce because I don’t use that product

-Skipped the liquid smoke

-Brought to a simmer, stirring constantly until thickened
