Here is the recipe I use by “Minimalist Baker” for vegan parmesan which uses nutritional yeast:

What she did differently:

-Did not use oil

-Added 1/2 of a medium onion, chopped. She sautéed it at the same time as the garlic.

-Used 2 lemons

-She did not have vegan parmesan so used some nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor

-Topped with some crushed red pepper flakes
