WHOLE FRUIT MARGARITA

If you are going to drink, try to minimize your losses by serving a healthier version of your favorite beverage. This drink is delicious and can be made with or without alcohol. No matter your choice of mixed drink, avoid high fructose corn syrup or highly processed sweeteners. Date sugar can be used as a substitute in thick blended drinks though does not mix well when stirred directly into a drink glass. You need a high speed blender for this recipe.

How much alcohol is considered bad for your health? Any amount! Here is some info from the World Health Organization.

What I did differently:

-Used 2 blood oranges in place of one large orange

-Used date sugar 1:1 in place of white sugar

-For virgin option substituted the alcohol with OJ
