You Better Believe It's A Better Butter
If you are health conscious and are missing butter, you need to make this whole food, plant-based recipe. It's the closest thing to butter that I have tried and even my non-vegan husband said it tasted like butter. It has lots of flavor without all the health risks. It's a game changer! Thanks to Julie Stutzman, a moderator of the 100% Pure McDougall Facebook page for the recipe. It's as amazing as she claims.
Here is some information about cheesecloth in case you have never used it before.

You Better Believe It’s A Better Butter
Ingredients
1/2 cup plant-based unsweetened yogurt (I used almond yogurt)
1 teaspoon white miso
1 teaspoon tahini
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt, optional (I used 1/4 tsp and it was plenty salty so may reduce further)
Several pinches of turmeric for color (optional)
Instructions
Strain the yogurt using cheesecloth. I used a rubber band to secure a piece of cheesecloth to a small bowl.
Place the bowl in a pot that has a lid. Spoon the yogurt on top of the cheesecloth and cover the pot.
Place pot in refrigerator overnight.
Scoop the drained yogurt from the cheesecloth and place in a small bowl.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well combined.
Refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
