GARLIC HERB CAULIFLOWER

It's so awesome when you make a recipe and it turns out way better than expected! This was so easy and so delicious. Even my husband thought it was very good.

I served it paired with a quick pasta dish made with previously cooked/frozen whole grain spaghetti that I sautéed with chopped garden tomatoes, left over roasted garlic, lemon juice, and salt/pepper to taste.

You can find the recipe at “Inspired Taste” blog: Garlic Herb Cauliflower Rice

Herbs and spices are so loaded with nutrients that Dr. Michael Greger lists them on his "Daily Dozen" list. See photo section for his checklist. He has a free App too if you want to use your phone to track your progress.

Here is a 3 minute interview with a dietitian about the benefits of herbs and spices: The Health Benefits Of Herbs And Spices

What I did:

-Used frozen riced cauliflower that may husband gets at Costco

-I was short sliced almonds so only used about 1/3 cup

-Did not add butter/oil

-Dry sautéed the minced garlic then also threw in roasted garlic that I had left over (a full head because I love garlic!)

-I used fresh basil and oregano from my garden, did not measure rather threw a bunch in
