GERMAN CHOCOLATE BARS

German Chocolate Cake was my favorite birthday cake throughout my life. My mother made me one from scratch every year and after I got married my husband took over the task. Once I became a whole food, plant-based vegan...no more cake, but then I found this recipe by “Monkey and Me Kitchen Adventures.” These bars warmed my heart and brought back great memories. The brownie-like bottom and coconut pecan topping was a huge hit with my family.
