CHINESE HOT MUSTARD SAUCE

I really enjoy this mustard sauce. It tastes very much like the one you get at an Asian restaurant. I used it as a dip for baked “Thai Spring Rolls” and as a sauce for “Egg Roll In A Bowl.”

CHINESE HOT MUSTARD SAUCE

Ingredients

1/4 cup prepared Dijon mustard

1 Tablespoon rice wine vinegar

1 minced garlic clove

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoons honey (I use maple syrup)

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (I only use 1/4 tsp and it is plenty spicy)

Instructions

Whisk together all of the ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
