BETTER BISCUITS

Who doesn't love a good biscuit? Of the dozen, I ate 6 over two days...no guilt there! I divided my mixture and made some plain, and some with chives and homemade vegan "bacon." Don't be afraid to use your bare hands with this recipe.

What I did differently:

-Replaced bread flour with equal amount of organic white whole wheat flour

-Reduced salt to 1/2 tsp

-Used leftover vegan “cheese” sauce from a different recipe

-Did not need all of the "buttermilk," had about 1/4th cup left

-My mixture needed a bit more kneading than "2-3 times" but don't overwork it

-Did not need a rolling pin to press out the dough, hands work fine

-Baked 12 minutes.
