CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT COOKIES
Made these wonderful cookies to surprise my neighbor for her birthday. I had no idea, but what a coincidence, that hazelnuts are grown in Bosnia which is where she is from. This recipe is simple with just 3 main ingredients but is loaded with deliciousness.

What I did and clarifications:
-Toasted the hazelnuts before grinding. My 1 cup before grinding weighed 155 grams
-Medjool dates, pitted, were packed into 1/2 cup and weighed 127 grams
-Each dough ball weighed about 33 grams
-Washed my hand after pressing a few cookies or else the dough wanted to stick to my hand. Pressed chopped hazelnuts into just 1 side of the cookie
-After about 5 minutes of cooling on the tray I transferred them to a cooling rack
