GARLIC CASHEW MAYO

I finally found the perfect condiment for my vegan "bacon," lettuce and tomato sandwiches. This has now become my favorite plant-based sandwich ever! Give this recipe a try on your favorite sandwich in place of standard or vegan mayonnaise for a tasty but healthier option.

Processed oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, and some preservatives are best to be avoided. Look at the ingredients of the following standard and vegan mayonnaise products:

Real Mayo by Kraft:1st ingredient is soybean OIL. Also contains sugar, eggs, calcium disodium EDTA. Has 10 grams of fat per TBSP.

Fat-Free Mayo by Kraft: 4th ingredient is sugar, 5th ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, 6th ingredient is soybean OIL. Also contains egg, lactic acid, phosphoric acid, yellow dye 6, blue dye 1, potassium sorbate, calcium disodium EDTA.

Vegenaise by Follow Your Heart: 1st ingredient is rapeseed OIL, 3rd ingredient is brown rice syrup. Has 9 grams of fat per TBSP.

Just Mayo by Hampton Creek: 1st ingredient is canola OIL. Also contains sugar, calcium disodium EDTA. Has 10 grams of fat per TBSP, 0 cholesterol
