BASIL'S FAVORITE MINESTRONE SOUP
My daughter and her husband loved this soup and it was very easy to prepare. As usual, their dog Basil remained available to lick the dishes clean!

What my daughter did differently:
-Did not use oil. Sautéed the onions with a bit of broth.
-Did not have fresh tomatoes so instead used a 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes
-Cut the green beans using kitchen scissors and did not do at an angle
-Chose mini bowtie pasta (but use any pasta you like)
-Added 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper to the pot and then some extra in individual bowls as desired
