EASY NO-BAKE OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER EGGS

When you want the flavor of peanut butter but with much less fat, peanut butter powder is the way to go. Be aware when purchasing nut/peanut powders that some brands have added ingredients including sugar. I used this recipe which used both peanut butter powder and peanut butter because I didn’t want the oatmeal eggs to be too sticky in the Easter Basket.

You can find the original recipe at “Savy Naturalista” blog: HEALTHY OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER EGGS

If you look at the ingredient list of Quaker's Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Granola Bars it is easy to see why a homemade snack is a healthier option. Quaker's ingredients includes multiple sweeteners, multiple oils, milk products, soy lecithin, and "natural flavors.”

Additional info and what I did differently:

-My oats weighed 250 grams and maple syrup 70 grams

-Instead of almond milk used my homemade hemp milk

-Increased mini chocolate chips since not adding sprinkles and mixed them in with the dry ingredients

-Added the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients

-Used my hands to make smaller and different sized eggs rather than filling plastic eggs
